Flotation Collectors

ESTERLOK® and MORAFLOK® promoters are used for the flotation of minerals including phosphate, copper, gold, alumina and many others, providing improved performance, higher selectivity and better overall performance. Additionally, Norstok uses its methodology to develop in-house optimized mineral flotation with its unique formulations to achieve measurable improvements in metallurgical, operational and financial performance. Flocculants

As the needs of the industry change over time, Norstok provides a range of flocculant technologies to meet those needs. To better meet industry's demand, we developed FOLAFLOK® Series flocculants for the industry. Our flocculants are continuously improved.

For the best results in a variety of applications, we have the capacity to provide anionic, nonionic, and cationic flocculants. Both high performance and specialized flocculants for the processing of copper and other metals have been created, as well as flocculants specially designed for the alumina industry.

Depressants

Sulfide mineral depressants have been created by Norstok to be extremely effective and adaptable in a variety of applications. When used in the Cu-Mo separation system, the SKALLMAX® brand of depressants helps to reduce copper and iron sulfides levels at lower doses than more conventional depressants like NaHS reagent.

Depressants are also used in the flotation of simple metal sulfide and complex polymetallic bearing ores, and Norstok offers products that depress iron sulfides like marcasite or pyrite.

Frothers

FROTOFLOK® frothers are designed to work best in all kinds of flotation systems. This comprehensive product line offers all the resources necessary for flotation process optimization, along with our collector/depressant chemistries.

Furthermore, Norstok benefits from its comprehensive method for optimizing mineral flotation that combines our experience in flotation, special chemistries and our application knowledge and insights to consistently deliver quantifiable enhancements in the operational performance of the frothers.

Norstok's AXELFOAM® series are antifoams products that do not only suppress foam, but also prevent foaming to regenerate.

Example of application: alumina plants such as in the hydrate classifiers, mud washing circuits, digesters and condensate tanks.
